Q11 - Quilt - Rainbow '97

This first quilt I posted today. Rainbow '97, Q11, is one of my favorite works.

This is an original color design. Rainbow '97 is a variation on a classic quilting pattern. We donated it to Tampa Art For Life and now it is a part of the collection of the successful bidder and buyer. The idea for this quilt was a melding of the color spectrum and rainbow.

It's a fair size quilt as it is, in the picture, sitting on a king size bed. It's a play on the blending of primary and secondary colors as they transition each into each other. If you can not see the vivid colors, as I see them, you may need to upgrade your color card in your PC.

If you are interested, and would like some more information of the available quilts, regarding costs, shipping, and insurance, please get in touch with me at our Quilts SB Etsy shop.

To see previously posted quilts, type Q1 through Q10 in the search box on the Blog page.

Stay-tuned for Q12. As I mentioned before there are close to 50 quilts hidden in the nooks and crannies of this house... and we still are creating and generating them by the weeks.

Enjoy,

Jim and Andy
