My Quip - Update - A New Series - The E-20s

Good Day,

Yes, even with the holidays upon us we've been working on a new series of quilts; our E-20 series.

Originally the series was going to be a pair. Now the duo may/has become a trio.

Our designs, ES-20 (left) and ET-20 (right) are only partially visible. (We do not want to reveal everything at this point of time.)

Each quilt, without border or binding included will be approximately 32 2-inch squares wide and 42 2-inch squares long. A quick calculation, but please do not hold us to it, 64” wide and 84” long.

To date we have cut the pieces, and then we ran out of fabric of a couple of the colorways. Fabrics are Robert Kaufman Kona solids; 8 shades of Green and 1 of Oyster. We’re just waiting delivery of the order of the Robert Kaufman Kona fabrics, especially the Oyster one.

The designs are complementary to each other as well as we’re going to be trying something almost different in our quilting. The quilting design is underway.  We're really excited about our preliminary quilting design.

ES-20 and ET-20, the first two have already been spoken for, and they will be offered up in auctions at two charitable events in the new year. The third, well?

Here is an image of the first 26 strips for ES-20. We’ve included a side-by-side to our original design.

To see our previously posted quilts, there is a visual grid presentation at the bottom of the Quilts SB page. Move your cursor over any mini-picture found there and click to see an enlargement. Move your cursor to the "Q#" link to see the quilt's details. If the quilt’s title is highlighted in yellow, it has found a home in a collection and is no longer available.

Please let me know if anything on the Blog site does not properly work. I’m always striving to make sure an ease of use.

If you are interested, and would like some more information of the available quilts, regarding costs, shipping, and insurance, please get in touch with us Quilts SB, at jsmith58@gmail.com.

Enjoy,

Jim and Andy
