My Quip – All Three – Light Bringer, Sea and Sky, and Diamonds – Selected To Travel with Hoffman Challenge

Good Day,

Andy and I received confirmation that our three quilts and wall hangings, entries to the Hoffman Challenge 2014 - Light Bringer, Sea and Sky, and Diamonds have all been chosen to be included as a part of the Hoffman Traveling Trunk Show and Exhibits. The traveling schedule begins August 15, 2014 and runs through October 2015.

I have attempted to outline a quick schedule of where in the United States our three quilts will be traveling and on exhibit. The calendar of all the chosen Hoffman Challenge 2014 quilt and items included in all 12 trunks can be seen at their website. The calendars are constantly updated as new exhibits are requested.

My Quip – Blumish Two – Evolutions: Third Biennial Quilt Challenge

Good Day,

Andy’s and my Blumish Two quilt was chosen and is currently on display in Evolutions: Third Biennial Quilt Challenge at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum in Golden, Colorado.

Where have you been? Where are you now? Where are you going? The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum  challenged quilters and fiber artists to consider these questions and create a quilt inspired by the theme “Evolutions”. The 25 pieces selected by juror Dr. Sandra Sider demonstrate just how many ways the idea can be expressed. The exhibit opened on July 31 and will run through October 28, 2014. We're working on a number of other projects.
