My Quip - Our Betty Whites Head On Home

Good Day,

Our Betty Whites, BW 1950 and BW 2010 are on their way home.

The two of them have been on the road and as a part of the featured exhibition Notable Women Quilt Initiative since early 2014.

Thank you to Janis Stokes for effort and tremendous work. Please let us free that Andy and I would be honored to be a part of your future endeavors.

Our Betty Whites journey began in October 2013 when Andy and I answered a call for entry. BW 1950 and BW 2010 are two small quilts, each 24" square", created as abstract mosaics from two portraits of Betty White. BW 1950 from a black and white 1950 portrait photagraph; BW 2010 a color 2010 image.

My Quip - Our Betty Whites Are in Leavenworth, WA

Good Day,

Our two quilts and wall hangings, our Betty Whites - BW 1950 and BW 2010 are currently in Leavenworth, Washington.

BW 1950 and BW 2010 are a part of the Notable Women Quilt Initiative at the Leavenworth Quilt Show 2014. The 19th annual Quilt show is being held this September 3-7.

News - We just found out that our two quilts will be a part of June 2015: QuiltWorks in Bend, Oregon.

My Quip – Our Betty Whites – Mountain Stars Quilt Show

Good Day,

Our two Betty White wall hangings, BW 1950 and BW 2010 will be on display at the Mountain Stars Quilt Show as a part of the Notable Women Quilt Initiative.

The Mountain Stars Quilt Show will be held at the Medford Armory, 1701 S. Pacific Highway, in Medford, Oregon. The dates of the show are June 27-29.

Check the Notable Women Quilt Initiative site to see the addition of some new and amazing wall hangings.
