My Quip - Elation - Quilting Part 1 - Concentric Circles

Good Day,

Continuing our work and my report on the progress of our new quilt and wall hanging Elation...

For the first run all butterflies have been added.

And now begins the quilting.  The sandwich has been constructed; the top; 100% cotton batting; and a beige solid back.  All three parts are safety-pinned together.  The quilting is being done with our Janome Memory Craft 6300 domestic sewing machine.

Part 1 - The Pantone -

Andy and I decided on concentric circles.  They are drawn in freehand 1/4" apart and then quilted using a walking foot.  We decided to keep this form, the concentric circles, of quilting only in the Pantone area of our Elation.
