Q39 – Quilt – Green Sister Number 5

Afternoon,

We’re back… The quilt Green Sister Number 5 has been finished; and that’s the 5th one of the Sisters’ Series.

Please know that my flash camera and the overhead lighting may alter the actual colors of Number 5. The colors and various shades included are green, olive, white, yellow, pink, and rose. The dimensions are: Length – 64 ½" ( 164 cms.); Width – 64 ½"( 164 cms.) This quilt is a constructed square.

I’ve added four close-ups.

To see previously posted quilts, type any Q# coding in the search box at the upper right-hand on my Blog page; to date Q1 through Q39. There is a visual grid presentation at the bottom of my Blog page. Move your cursor over any mini-picture found there and click to see an enlargement. Move your cursor to the "Q#" link to see the quilt's details. If the quilt’s title is highlighted in yellow, it has found a home in a collection and is no longer available.

Q38 – Quilt – Blue Sister Number 4

And again a gracious good afternoon,

Dogs have been fed, walked, and all have settled in. I do not hear the sound of at least 64 nails click-click-clicking on the tile floor.

As promised here’s Blue, Number 4 in the Sisters’ Series. And one more to go; Green.

Blue is a small quilt. Its dimensions are: Length – 63” (160 cms); Width 48 ½” (123 cms). This is a petite lap quilt and could be a complementary accent to the Sister Quilts.

And for your viewing pleasure, here are some close ups.

Q37 – Quilt – Rose, Sister Number 3

Afternoon,

The weather forecasters got it right… for once! It has been overcast and raining since we got up this morning. The Rats really didn’t want to go out, but of course the big ole Labs relish anytime a leash is jingled.

Today’s quilt is Rose, Sister Number 3. This is obviously Number 3 in our Sisters Series. You can see Yellow and Pink at Q30 and Q31, respectively.

The dimensions of Rose are: Length – 80” (203 cms); Width – 57” (145 cms). It could be considered a Lap or a Cot quilt. All our quilts are 100% cotton, both fabric and batting. All pictures were taken with a flash. (Thanks Wouter for your book, Famous Interiors.)

Here are some close-ups.
