My Quip - Colored Windows Quilt Progress

Afternoon,

The top to Colored Windows has been completed. Colored Windows is a new addition to our Rainbow Series.

My thought of this design originated with Alfred Hitchcock’s movie, Rear Window. Amy Walsh, for Blue Underground Studios has created a quilt pattern, her Rear Window. Adapting the pattern I have created our interpretation, Colored Windows.

Colored Windows, presently, approximates the following dimensions – Width: 64” (163 cms); Length 79 ½” (202 cms). There will be some difference once we decide on a border and add the binding.

The images are of the completed top without batting or backing. I really like the sun’s effect as it is reflected through the fabric.

Here are a couple of more images.

Stay-tuned for our continued progress. I have received notice that OP Ornament, our finalist entry to MQX East 2011 has arrived, intact, at the Show’s headquarters.

Check out our currently available quilts at Quilts SB Etsy.

To see previously posted quilts, there is a visual Grid presentation at the bottom of the Quilts SB page. Move your cursor over any mini-picture found there and click to see an enlargement. Move your cursor to the "Q#" link to see the quilt's details. If the quilt’s title is highlighted in yellow or in red, it has found a home in a collection and is no longer available.

If you are interested, and would like some more information of any available quilts, regarding costs, shipping, and insurance, please check our Quilts SB Etsy Shop.

If you have any questions and/or comments please feel free to get in touch with me via email.

Enjoy,

Jim and Andy
